Michael Shannon talks General Zod costume
Following hot around the heels of some leaked button snaps of Henry Cavill around the group of Guy Of Steel come a couple of information from Michael Shannon, who's been speaking to Entertainment Weekly about General Zod and what he'll be putting on.Possibly not surprisingly, the billowing capes and parachute pants of yesteryear have grown to be a factor of history, with Shannon explaining that present day costumes are slightly less forgiving. "Everything's skin-tight," laughs the star. "The flowy costumes don't really... that isn't the design and style nowadays!"When requested whether he's a complete-on Krypton costume, Shannon's answer was intriguing. "There are 2 different modes," he describes. "There is something that I must put on a motion-capture suit for, if I really used it, I wouldn't have the ability to move." "It is a very large... factor. I really have no idea what it is going to seem like, I simply realize that it is extremely cumbersome. There's another factor which i put on that's a real costume. It's really quite simple. There is no paisley or anything."And also putting on the mo-cap, Shannon has apparently been doing his homework on the field of that they has become a vital element. "I do not browse the comic," he confesses, "although after i got the task, they sent us a giant Electricity Comics book that weighs in at in regards to a ton. It's the entire good reputation for Electricity inside it. It's fascinating, really. I checked out it with my daughter. She's really intrigued because of it.InchGuy Of Steel opens Stateside on 14 June 2013.
